For Chance and Sabre, Art Sheridan's labels, Willie goes to Chicago abandoning the Memphis area for a short period. During this session, Willie is only singer but his band is first-rate : Snooky Pryor (harmonica), Sunnyland Slim (piano), Eddie Taylor (guitar), Alfred Wallace (drums). For each label, he cut one single (which means four titles for the entire session). After these, he no longer had the opportunity to record.
