Né dans une famille de musiciens, Clarence a joué plusieurs années avec Touch of Class puis au sein du Greg Palmer Band. Puis, il commence une carrière solo - chanteur et guitariste - au début des années 90. Il enregistre avec son superbe groupe ce premier album qu'il propose au label Evidence. Un disque solide et prometteur partagé entre compositions personnelles ("Baby baby baby", "Answer to the man") et reprises convaicantes ("Build for comfort", "A good fool is hard to find"). On peut mentionner l'excellent Mark Hamza sur orgue Hammond et basse à pédalier. Il semble qu'il y eut un projet de second album pour Evidence mais celui-ci n'a jamais vu le jour.

Born into a family of musicians, Clarence played for several years with Touch of Class and then with the Greg Palmer Band. Then, he began a solo career - singer and guitarist - in the early 90's. He recorded this first album with his superb backing band, which he proposed to Evidence label. A solid and promising disc shared between personal compositions ("Baby baby baby", "Answer to the man") and convincing covers ("Build for comfort", "A good fool is hard to find"). We can mention the excellent Mark Hamza on Hammond organ and pedal bass. It seems that there was a second album project for Evidence but this one never saw the light of day.

En proie à des problèmes personnels, Clarence Spady a du attendre plus d'une dizaine d'années pour voir paraitre ce second album studio. Désormais chez Severn, il propose un album bien produit entre Soul et Blues qui manque un peu d'originalité mais ponctué de bons moments comme "I'll never sell you out", "Enough of you", "King of hearts", "Cut them loose", "24-7 luv".

Plagued by personal problems, Clarence Spady had to wait more than ten years to see this second studio album appear. Now at Severn, he offers a well produced album between Soul and Blues which lacks a bit of originality but punctuated by good moments like "I'll never sell you out", "Enough of you", "King of hearts", "Cut them loose", "24-7 luv".
