Fille du bluesman Eddie Taylor, Demetria débute en apparaissant sur les CD de son grand frère Eddie Taylor Jr. En 2011, elle trouve l'opportunité de graver son premier album pour Delmark. Produite par Bob Koester et Steve Wagner, elle est entourée de superbes musiciens comme son frère Eddie, Shun Kikuta, Melvin "Pookie Styx" Carlisle, Roosevelt Purifoy, Big Time Sarah, Billy Branch, Eddie Shaw. Bonne chanteuse, elle offre ici un excellent disque de Chicago Blues même s'il ne contient que des reprises. On retient en particulier "Voodoo woman", "Bad girl", "Goin' back to Mississippi", "Cherry red wine".
Daughter of bluesman Eddie Taylor, Demetria began by appearing on the CDs of her big brother Eddie Taylor Jr. In 2011, she found the opportunity to record her first album for Delmark.
