Voici un album de blues électrique puissant avec de bons moments comme "Pressure", "Treatin' me so bad", ses reprises de "Bad luck city" et de "I got the blues" ou encore l'hommage à son père (le bluesman R.L. Burnside) avec "Tribute" même si le son se fait un peu trop électrique et confus par instants.

Après une longue absence discographique, Duwayne revient avec cet album tout acoustique. Il reprend en majeure partie les titres de son père et les standards du Hill Country Blues avec inspiration. Un programme intéressant duquel on peut retenir "Going down south", "Poor black Mattie", "Alice Mae", "She threw my clothes out" (disponible en deux versions) ou "Bad bad pain".
