Arrivé sur le label Maison de Soul de Floyd Soileau, Keith Frank propose un bon cocktail de Zydeco contemporain, même si sa musique semble parfois un peu répétitive. On trouve quelques sympathiques compositions personnelles comme "What's his name", "One shot", "Sweet pea", "Everybody get up" mais aussi des reprises inspirées du "Motor dude special" de Boozoo Chavis et du "Feels so bad" de Little Milton.
Having joined Floyd Soileau's Maison de Soul label, Keith Frank offers a nice blend of contemporary Zydeco, even if his music sometimes feels a bit repetitive. Puis, une seconde partie, plus traditionnelle, consacrée à ses racines créoles avec les participations de son père Preston et de son grand père Paul. Ici aussi, on trouve des morceaux remarquables comme "Flames of hell", "If I had a hammer", "Paul Frank special", "Josephine is not my wife", "Who stole the pies". Hormis le fait que le programme soit beaucoup trop long (25 titres), voici un parfait panorama des possibilités de Keith Frank.
