Fils de Jonell et Vera Coleman, il nait au coeur du Mississippi. Influencé par B.B. King, il apprend à jouer de la guitare dès l'enfance. Vainqueur de l'International Blues Challenge en 2014, il se lance dans une carrière Blues. En parrallèle, Mr Sipp chante dans le groupe de Gospel, The True Believers. Pour ce premier album autopublié, il joue de tous les instruments et produit lui-même. Un disque prometteur de Blues contemporain avec de beaux titres comme "Can I ride", "If loving you is crazy", "Why you do me this way".

Son of Jonell and Vera Coleman, he was born in the heart of Mississippi. Influenced by B.B. King, he learned to play the guitar from childhood. Winner of the International Blues Challenge in 2014, he launched into a Blues career. In parallel, Mr Sipp sings in the Gospel group, The True Believers. For this first self-released album, he plays all the instruments and produces himself. A promising contemporary Blues album with nice titles like "Can I ride", "If loving you is crazy", "Why you do me this way".

Pour ce second album qu'il co-produit avec Tommy Couch Jr, Mr Sipp compose tous les titres (sauf un). Dans un style Soul-Blues, il donne de superbes morceaux qui valent l'écoute : "TMBC", "Jump the broom", "Sipp slide", "Nobody's bisness", "Jackpot", "Be careful". Mr Sipp se montre excellent chanteur et guitariste. Il est bien épaulé par un groupe compact composé de Jeffrey Flanagan (basse), Damien Strauder (claviers) et Stanley Dixon (batterie). L'album obtint un beau succès public et fit décoller la carrière de Mr Sipp.

For this second album which he co-produced with Tommy Couch Jr, Mr Sipp composed all the titles (except one). In a Soul-Blues style, he gives superb tracks that are worth listening to : "TMBC", "Jump the broom", "Sipp slide", "Nobody's business", "Jackpot", "Be careful". Mr Sipp is an excellent singer and guitarist. He is well supported by a compact backing band composed of Jeffrey Flanagan (bass), Damien Strauder (keyboards) and Stanley Dixon (drums). The album was a great public success and made Mr Sipp's career take off.

KNOCK A HOLE IN IT

Mr Sipp a opté ici pour un son résolument plus lourd et plus Rock. On trouve quand même des morceaux sympathiques avec "Knock a hole in it", "Bad feeling", "Gotta let her go", "Going down", "Turn up" mais aussi des ballades plus commerciales. On note en fin de programme une reprise du "Little wing" de Jimi Hendrix.

Mr Sipp has opted here for a decidedly heavier and more Rock sound. We still find nice songs with "Knock a hole in it", "Bad feeling", "Gotta let her go", "Going down", "Turn up" but also more commercial ballads. We note at the end of the program a cover of Jimi Hendrix's "Little wing".

Toujours principalement Soul-Blues, Mr Sipp emprunte cette fois aussi au Funk et au Gospel. On peut retenir "Let's have a good time", "Sippnotized", "F2020", "Dirty Mississippi blues" ou encore l'atmosphérique "Free" dans ce sympathique programme.

Always mainly Soul-Blues, Mr Sipp borrows this time also from Funk and Gospel. We can point out "Let's have a good time", "Sippnotized", "F2020", "Dirty Mississippi blues" and also the atmospheric "Free" in this nice program.
